How we verify caregivers
Nothing matters more than trust when someone looks after your child. Here is exactly what happens before a caregiver appears in your search results. Every step is done by a person on our team, not an algorithm.
Video call with every caregiver
Before anything else, a member of our team meets every caregiver in a video call. No profile goes live without it.
Government ID check
During the video call we check a government-issued ID against the profile name. Profiles that pass show the 'ID verified' badge.
Two reference calls
We ask every caregiver for families they have worked for, and we personally call at least two of them before granting the 'References checked' badge.
First-aid certificate
Caregivers upload their first-aid certificate and we check the issuer and expiry date. Expired certificates lose the badge.
What we don't promise
No screening process can guarantee a perfect fit. That's why profiles also show what hasn't been verified yet, how reliably a caregiver responds, and only reviews from completed bookings, so you can judge for yourself.
